Road-trip’n : beta test

Living in the land of the pseudo free is draining and at this point outright embarrassing to say the least. With the constant energetic and consciousness suppressing mechanisms operating throughout thee Americas and beyond; getting away has become vital for one’s everyday health. With that being said recently I’ve been feeling an apparent need for change: a change of scenery, a change of environment, a change of energy or atmosphere if you will. It was time to shake up the matrix.

Knowing that one damn near has to jump through hoops to catch a flight these days I chose a destination and decided to take the road less travelled. Pun intended. January 12 ‘26 hopped in the whip where no supervision, screenings, surveillance nor special ids are required. Renewed my Apple Music subscription, filled the tank and dipped.

Probably could have set a better itinerary but thats why it’s a beta test.

Plan was visit Sedona hit the four major vortexes then drive to phoenix where my hotel was booked. Ideally I would have stayed in Sedona. That city has way more flavor and actual authenticity but I booked a room in phoenix to expand exploration; it would also get me 2 hours closer to home on departure day. Apparently my initial recon was insufficient because the night before I discovered hitting all four vortexes was far fetched considering there was a minimum of a 1.5 hour hike for each. I was not prepared for that, especially after a 6 hour drive. Airport Mesa vortex was the easiest to get to so I spent a few hours there, then stopped by a shop or two before heading to phoenix.

Been feeling called to document lately so I took my camera, but once there decided it’d be more beneficial to remain present and feel the energy so I didn’t spend too much time composing or shooting just snapped a few photos and enjoyed the view.

Planning to return to Sedona later this year for more in depth explorations and activations.

Now that I have the lay of the land the next trip will be undoubtedly stellar.

Bring back the road trip… it’s liberating. Once you take an extended drive (over 8 hours 1-way in my case) you realize the limitations of the mind. You have more freedom to roam than you think! Knocking out that first trip is the catalyst.
